I still remember my mom sitting in front of her PC with this giant magnifying attachment on her classic monitor playing Diablo 2. She is the one that introduced me to the game so I hold the game very close to my heart. You see, my mom actually used to play Diablo 2 like crazy. As I created my characters I could not help but reminisce on the past adventures I had. Even the intro Blizzard logo reveal resembles that which we used to see back in the day. Everything is there and has been almost copied and pasted across the two games in a one-for-one manner. It is important to note that Diablo 2 Resurrected is a complete remake of the original. Not only does the game look absolutely superb thanks to its remade visuals, but that uncomfortable atmosphere that made the original so dark and terrifying has been perfectly captured once again. Now that Diablo 2 Resurrected is at our door, the remake/remaster also brings with it the opportunity to experience the classic again. I was a child so I used whatever made me look awesome and increase my stats. Mainly the grind for gear, creating the best build and putting together all the different stats and items to craft the most beastly of characters. However, being a child playing a game, that was clearly way too old for my age, I missed out on the best moments in Diablo 2. Be it hosting LAN parties with friends or making use of the Jamella hero editor for hours on end only to launch my game and have it crash right as the loading door is opening. Much of my childhood gaming memories are based on the game. I'll probably wait for a price drop.The moment Diablo 2 Resurrected booted up I was filled with joy. Honestly, I quite disappointed by the beta. So now the race for the loot is even more frustrating.

(considering it's very easy to be full inventory compared to D3. Wanna grab that unique mace again? Huh, uh! Your inventory is full now. Wanna grab that unique mace? Huh, uh! You picked up the fire potion nobody wants. Selecting stuff on ground is now very problematic, since the loot is shared. SO you have to wait a tiny bit each freaking time you buy a single scroll. Some items in the shop are worth 5k while it's a standard basic item You can't replenish your townportals or identify scrolls in one click. You press X, but your character starts running around in different directions without hitting anything. You can hold X to attack continuously, but sometimes your character stops attacking. I had absolutely no problems on D3, but there are tons of problems for the D2 remake. But the game is definitely broken for consoles. I never really played like a hardcore gamer anyway. Yeah, I've decided I would never ever put any skill on X or A for Xbox. I'm pretty disappointed I refunded but I can't play Diablo 2 solo. I got my fingers crossed they fix this problem. ****I refunded**** can't believe they gave me my money back. I hope this is just the beta and these will be there.I wanna ask for my money back from Sony but at same time I wanna roll the dice that these features will be there. Not being able to text what you want to people in the game is brutal too and will be very hard to work together as the game gets tougher, unless you play with just your friends with voice chat.īasically the best part about Diablo 2 is missing from consoles. no PVP or trade rooms anymore.No naming games for specific help or looking for certain items Without it we can't do Baal, Meph, Cow, MF runs. Right now, not being able to name created games is the biggest disappointment Why can't I name created games or join others created games? Game almost feels broken without these features
